Meet the NOVO Team
Curt is co-founder and CEO of NOVO Health. His previous experience in the manufacturing and product realization industry brings a unique perspective on efficiency and process improvement to the delivery of healthcare. Curt is also CEO of the Orthopedic & Sports Institute, one of the groups under the NOVO umbrella.
Director of Finance
Aaron is the Director of Finance at the Orthopedic & Sports Institute and NOVO Health. Aaron was instrumental in the development of numerous cost-saving innovations, among them surgical price bundles. His background includes 8 years of experience with Plexus, an electronics manufacturing company where he held various finance positions.
Chief Legal Officer
As Chief Legal Officer and Strategy Implementation at NOVO Health, Angela prepares and maintains the contracts through which NOVO providers coordinate and deliver services to employers and other payers, providing legal and regulatory analysis to assure statutory compliance. She also works closely with other members of NOVO’s leadership team to identify and implement strategic projects.
Chief Clinical Integration Officer
As Chief Clinical Integration Officer at NOVO Health, Sandi is responsible for quality, credentialing, and strategic operations. With her background in clinical service line management she provides guidance for the development of integrated team-based care initiatives. Sandi also serves as the CEO at NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin, one of the groups under the NOVO umbrella.
Executive VP of Sales
Tony is Executive VP of Sales at NOVO Health. His primary focus is to build partnerships that add value and reduce an employer’s total healthcare costs to create a competitive advantage. Tony’s background includes developing revenue-generating business strategies that have fueled sales volumes, solidified growth plans, and built top-talented teams of contributors.
As NOVO Health VP of Business Development, Paul educates and helps self-insured clients identify ways to reduce their medical spend. He counsels self-insured clients on a wide variety of topics including consumerism, spend, cost containment, and quality metrics. Paul has been providing business owners with practical cost-effective solutions since 2015.
VP of Provider Relations
Prior to assuming her role as NOVO Health’s VP of Employer Relations, Patti served in a dual capacity as both Director of Workers’ Compensation and Director of Strategic Accounts for the Orthopedic & Sports Institute. Patti is responsible for assessing opportunities to recruit new providers as well as managing relationships with existing providers.
Teri is NOVO Health’s Care Coordinator. She navigates the journey for all employee patients whose employers have a Direct Contract relationship with NOVO Health. As liaison and advocate, Teri’s job is to review options, answer questions, and assist in appointment scheduling to ensure each patient has an exceptional experience.
Dana Vander Velden
Dana facilitates projects in Marketing for the Orthopedic & Sports Institute and NOVO Health. She created the branding imagery and guidelines for NOVO. Her proficiency in a wide range of media and software allows her to develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts that present a unified vision of the NOVO brand to the public.
Working closely with the leadership and marketing teams of NOVO partners, Scott provides content that advances the image and awareness of the NOVO brand. Scott is one of the primary writers for NOVO Live and has been a contributor to the magazine’s development and trajectory since its inception.
Paul is Director of IT at NOVO Health and is responsible for overseeing the infrastructure of technical operations and maintaining systems. He previously worked as the lead web developer at a multi-billion dollar manufacturing company. Paul is also the Director of IT at the Orthopedic & Sports Institute.
Editor/Publisher NOVO Live
Sean works with the NOVO leadership team, independent physicians, employers and strategic partners to enhance the NOVO Live association magazine. Its stories illustrate the success of NOVO’s vision for accessible, affordable and more efficient healthcare. Sean brings a wealth of media experience to NOVO, including work with newspapers, magazines and specialty publications throughout the Midwest, plus experience in Internet publishing, social media and public relations.
